The second season of the anime series Mission: Yozakura Family will continue with its second quarter in October, as revealed by the anime's staff. The first part of the second season ended with the 39th episode, and the anime is set to stream on MBS, TBS, and 26 other affiliated channels, as well as Hulu, with an English dub available on Hulu in the United States. The new season will feature Mirai Minato as the chief director, Takahiro Nakatsugawa as the director, and other returning staff, including character designer Mizuki Takahashi, composer Kōji Fujimoto, and sound director Tōru Kanegae. Idol group Sakurazaka46 performs the opening theme song, and Pilaf Alien performs the ending theme song. The anime is based on the manga of the same name, which is serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga ended its serialization in January 2025, and the final compiled book volume was published in March 2025. Viz Media has been publishing the manga in English digitally and physically, and Shueisha's MANGA Plus service also released the manga digitally in English. The franchise also includes several novels.
