The well-known Henry wrote this:
Tulku Buddha Maitreya Rinpoche (Ronald Lloyd Spencer), an American man born in 1951, declares that he is Buddha Maitreya emanation. His incarnation lineage begins from Buddha Shakyamuni (Gautama Buddha)/Jesus Christ/Buddha Maitreya, Guru Padmasambhava, Jowo Atisha and Je Tsongkhapa. And of course, like any other Buddhist-Christian cults, he said that this is the reappearance of Christ, the Buddha.
This is what the organization said about himself in a newsletter, Chitsonk Melong (The Mirror of Society) and also claimed that it was circulated throughout the monasteries in Lhasa, Tibet, and Dharamsala, India:
“The Tulku Buddha Maitreya Rinpoche is an American. He studied medicine in his youth and practiced it for a long time. There after, Buddhism became his chief interest. He made an investigation of Buddhist systems in their entirety. In addition, he investigated Tibetan culture for many long years, and became familiar with Tibetan people.
Based on that, from 1984 onward he assisted the injured in Tibet and restored various monasteries within Tibet that had been destroyed by The Chinese. He gave not inconsiderable aid to many Tibetans, both inside and outside Tibet, being patron of monastic and students, and so forth.
Then a high lama of the Kham region recognized him as the precious (rin-po-che) rebirth of the Tulku Buddha Maitreya and gave him many extensive installation ceremonies. There have been audiences, empowerments, transmissions and lectures to many Tibetans in Tibet, and he has bestowed audiences and Dharma lectures upon Tibetan lay and monastic among the refugee population as well.
As the recognized rebirth of a Tibetan lama, he has established many Dharma centers in America, Europe and Asia. The Dharma centers have been named “Shambhala Centers”.
Nowadays, his Dharma Centers give assistance not only to Tibet, but to the injured and poor of the world, and he intends to continue doing so in the future.”
His centre is a Soul Therapy Centre. Its centre’s literature also states that “He is the Avatar Archangel Michael/Metatron who is the Lord of Shambhala Sanat Kumara and is also known as Melchizedeck the Ancient of Days.”
And his name and title are changed time to time: Archangel Michael, Tulku Karma Sonam Phuntsok Rinpoche, Babaji, Tulku Je Tsong Khapa Gyalwa Rinpoche, Lama Dorje Buddha Maitreya Jesus Archangel Michael and last but not the least the American Buddha. Wow! I am so confused!
Enthronement and Contributions
He claims that in Tibet, Bhutan and Nepal, he received supports from the Sanghas – Ven. Dema Tulku Drung Jamyang Senge Rinpoche of Kham, Dema, Tibet, (left) Ven. Khenpo Khenrab Gyatso of Bhutan (top) and many others. He said that these two main Tibetan teachers recognized him as a tulku. And he said that all the income from the Soul Therapy Centre will go to help his Tibetan Refugee Projects which include rebuidling of the monasteries and daily care of the lamas, nuns and monks.
Lastly, the organization works hand in hand with Celtic Buddhism.

One of his disciples had debated with me about this Tulku Buddha Maitreya since 09 July 2002. Wangchuk Palgyi uses abusive language to insult me about my opinion on his guru. I will not publish the full content of his emails in my site since they are offensive and of bad taste in nature. He refused to accept my article by writing:
“Your web page about Buddha Maitreya is an insult of the worse kind, you have done no research whatever according to the suggestions Lord Buddha laid down about investigating teachers , you are the worst type of student on the Path , I call you ******** for Brains in the hope it will help you , I dont claim to be anything or anyone , thats it from me , you have too many dillusions of grandeur for there to be any thing good in talking to you further.”
He is very good in playing words game. Isn’t he trying to discourage me and want me remove this article from my site by saying that I will create bad karma for myself? Yet, he denied about it. As he wrote:
“No more words from me for your Karma is as set as your concrete mind we liken your Faith to a square iron wheel, a square Iron wheel is real but not much use to Sentient Beings your toungue is black coated from lies and perversions of the truth you have no love as through your actions you have lost your essence.”
However, I will still publish part of his very first email, he wrote:
“The Tibetans have a belief saying where there is great Dharma, you often find it surrounded by Maya, do you have the realization and spirital integrity to ask is there anything real beyond the Maya? I know his work is definatley something that raises alot of questions, what kind of investigation have you done? It doesn’t look like much to me, Dharma does not mean being trendy or popular, what kind of a dharma practioner are you? please have the guts to answer.”
When I pointed out that it should be ‘Mara’, instead of ‘Maya’, he refused to listen. He replied, “As truly thats all you have, its the Indian term ‘Maya’, not ‘Mara’.” And when I asked him, how did he get this terminology from? He replied, “Check out terms used in teachings of Esoteric 7 Rays Philosophy, Maya as in energy field of illusion created by astral/desire body of mankind.” Without doubt, Tulku Buddha Maitreya has corrupted the Buddhist teachings by changing the standard terminology used by the Buddha Himself, more than 2,500 years ago. On 10 July 2002, Wangchuk Palgyi wrote:
“It is naturally necessary to realise that all manifestation on all levels is an expression of force, but the forces to which I refer here under the term maya are those uncontrolled energies, those undirected impulses which emanate from the world of prana and from the latent force of matter itself. These sweep a man into wrong activity and surround him with a whirlpool of effects and of conditions in which he is entirely helpless. He is the victim of mass force, hidden in the animal nature or in the world and the environing circumstances in which he finds himself. When to the power of maya is added the condition of glamour and also the illusions of the advanced disciple, it will be seen how necessary it is that there should be quiet differentiation between the three types of deception. It should he remembered that when we use the term “deception,” we mean deception from the angle of the soul. The aspirant has to learn to stand free from illusion, glamour, and maya, and to do this he must understand the means to freedom which are: Intuition, Illumination and Inspiration.”
On 20 February 2003, he argued:
“Why cant you accept that I wrote Maya because I meant Maya , I am more familiar with the term Maya , I also know the term Mara, do you think I dont known the term Mara and you think have to point it out to me. Please get a life. I wrote Maya because I meant maya.”
Sigh. Again, Tulku Buddha Maitreya or whatever you want to address him, is changing the Buddhist teachings into something like a New Age Cult teachings. In his teaching on “The Path of Initiation”, he wrote:
“After a longer or shorter period of time the disciple stands at the Portal of Initiation. We must remember that as one approaches this portal and draws nearer to the Master it is, as says “Light on the Path,” with the feet bathed in the blood of the heart. Each step up is ever through the sacrifice of all that the heart holds dear on one plane or another, and always must this sacrifice be voluntary. He who treads the Probationary Path and the Path of Holiness is he who has counted the cost, whose sense of values has been readjusted, and who therefore judges not as judges the man of the world. He is the man who is attempting to take the “kingdom by violence,” and in the attempt is prepared for the consequent suffering. He is the man who counts all things but loss if he may but win the goal, and who, in the struggle for the mastery of the lower self by the higher, is willing to sacrifice even unto death.
At the first initiation, the control of the Ego over the physical body must have reached a high degree of attainment. “The sins of the flesh,” as the Christian phraseology has it, must be dominated; gluttony, drink, and licentiousness must no longer hold sway. The physical elemental will no longer find its demand obeyed; the control must be complete and the lure departed. A general attitude of obedience to the Ego must have been achieved, and the willingness to obey must be very strong. The channel between the higher and the lower is widened, and the obedience of the flesh practically automatic.
That all initiates measure not up to this standard may be ascribed to several things, but the note they sound should be on the side of righteousness; the recognition of their own shortcomings which they will evidence will be sincere and public, and their struggle to conform to the highest standard will be known, even though perfection may not be achieved. Initiates may, and do, fall, and thereby incur the working of the law in punishment. They may, and do, by this fall injure the group, and thereby incur the karma of readjustment, having to expiate the injury through later prolonged service, wherein the group members themselves, even though unconsciously, apply the law; their progress will be seriously hindered, much time being lost in which they must work out the karma with the injured units. The very fact that a man is an initiate, and therefore the medium for force of a greatly increased kind, makes his lapses from the straight path to have more powerful effects than is the case with a less advanced man; his retribution and punishment will be equally greater. Inevitably he must pay the price before he is allowed to proceed further upon the Way. As for the group he injures, what should their attitude be? A recognition of the gravity of the error, a wise acceptance of the facts in the case, a refraining from unbrotherly criticism, and a pouring out of love upon the sinning brother:—all this, coupled with such action as will make clear to the on looking general public that such sins and infringements of the law are not condoned. To this must be added an attitude of mind within the group concerned which will lead them (whilst taking firm action) to help the mistaken brother to see his error, to work out the retributive karma, and then to reinstate him in their regard and respect when due amends have been made.
All people do not develop exactly along the same or parallel lines, and therefore no hard or fast rules can be laid down as to the exact procedure at each initiation, or as to just what centers are to be vivified, or what vision is to he accorded. So much depends upon the ray of the disciple, or his development in any particular direction (people do not usually develop evenly), upon his individual karma, and also upon the exigencies of any special period. This much can be suggested, however:
At the first initiation, that of the birth of the Christ, the heart center is the one usually vivified, with the aim in view of the more effective controlling of the astral vehicle, and the rendering of greater service to humanity. After this initiation the initiate is taught principally the facts of the astral plane; he has to stabilize his emotional vehicle and learn to work on the astral plane with the same facility and ease as he does on the physical plane; he is brought in contact with the astral devas; he learns to control the astral elementals; he must function with facility on the lower sub-planes, and the value and quality of his work on the physical plane becomes of increased worth. He passes, at this initiation, out of the Hall of Learning into the Hall of Wisdom. At this time, emphasis is consistently laid on his astral development, although his mental equipment grows steadily.
Many lives may intervene between the first initiation and the second. A long period of many incarnations may elapse before the control of the astral body is perfected, and the initiate is ready for the next step. The analogy is kept in an interesting way in the New Testament in the life of the initiate Jesus. Many years elapsed between the Birth and the Baptism, but the remaining three steps were taken in three years. Once the second initiation is taken the progress will be rapid, the third and fourth following probably in the same life, or the succeeding.
The second initiation forms the crisis in the control of the astral body. Just as, at the first initiation, the control of the dense physical has been demonstrated, so here the control of the astral is similarly demonstrated. The sacrifice and death of desire has been the goal of endeavor. Desire itself has been dominated by the Ego, and only that is longed for which is for the good of the whole, and in the line of the will of the Ego, and of the Master. The astral elemental is controlled, the emotional body becomes pure and limpid, and the lower nature is rapidly dying. At this time the Ego grips afresh the two lower vehicles and bends them to his will. The aspiration and longing to serve, love, and progress become so strong that rapid development is usually to be seen. This accounts for the fact that this initiation and the third, frequently (though not invariably) follow each other in one single life. At this period of the world’s history such stimulus has been given to evolution that aspiring souls—sensing the dire and crying need of humanity—are sacrificing all in order to meet that need.
Again, we must not make the mistake of thinking that all this follows in the same invariable consecutive steps and stages. Much is done in simultaneous unison, for the labor to control is slow and hard, but in the interim between the first three initiations some definite point in the evolution of each of the three lower vehicles has to be attained and held, before the further expansion of the channel can be safely permitted. Many of us are working on all the three bodies now, as we tread the Probationary Path.
At this initiation, should the ordinary course be followed, (which again is not at all certain) the throat center is vivified. This causes a capacity to turn to account in the Master’s service, and for the helping of man, the attainments of the lower mind. It imparts the ability to give forth and utter that which is helpful, possibly in the spoken word, but surely in service of some kind. A vision is accorded of the world’s need, and a further portion of the plan shown. The work, then, to be done prior to the taking of the third initiation, is the complete submerging of the personal point of view in the need of the whole. It entails the complete domination of the concrete mind by the Ego.
After the second initiation the teaching shifts up a plane. The initiate learns to control his mental vehicle; he develops the capacity to manipulate thought matter, and learns the laws of creative thought building. He functions freely on the four lower sub-planes of the mental plane, and before the third initiation he must,—consciously or unconsciously,— be complete master of the four lower sub-planes in the three planes of the three worlds. His knowledge of the microcosm becomes profound, and he has mastered theoretically and practically, in great measure, the laws of his own nature, hence his ability experimentally to be master on the four lower sub-planes of the physical, astral, and mental planes. The last fact is of interest. The control of the three higher sub-planes is not yet complete, and here is one of the explanations as to the failures and mistakes of initiates. Their mastery of matter in the three higher sub-planes is not yet perfect; these yet remain to be dominated.
At the third initiation, termed sometimes the Transfiguration, the entire personality is flooded with light from above. It is only after this initiation that the Monad is definitely guiding the Ego, pouring His divine life ever more into the prepared and cleansed channel, just as in the third, or Moon Chain, the Ego individualised the personality [Page 87] through direct contact, a method different to the individualisation as shown in this fourth chain. The law of correspondences, if applied here, might prove very revealing, and might demonstrate an interesting analogy between the methods of individualising in the various chains, and the expansions of consciousness that occur at the different initiations.
Again, a vision is accorded of what lies ahead; the initiate is in a position at all times to recognise the other members of the Great White Lodge, and his psychic faculties are stimulated by the vivification of the head centres. It is not necessary nor advisable to develop the synthetic faculties, or clairaudience and clairvoyance, until after this initiation. The aim of all development is the awakening of the spiritual intuition; when this has been done, when the physical body is pure, the astral stable and steady, and the mental body controlled, then the initiate can safely wield and wisely use the psychic faculties for the helping of the race. Not only can he use these faculties, but he is able now to create and vivify thoughtforms that are clear and well-defined, pulsating with the spirit of service and not controlled by lower mind or desire. These thoughtforms will not be (as is the case with those created by the mass of men) disjointed, unconnected, and uncorrelated, but will attain a fair measure of synthesis. Hard and ceaseless must the work be before this can be done, but when the desire nature has been stabilised and purified, then the control of the mind-body comes more easily. Hence the path of the devotee is easier in some ways than that of the intellectual man, for he has learnt the measures of purified desire, and progresses by the requisite stages.
The personality has now reached a point where its vibrations are of a very high order, the matter in all three bodies relatively pure, and its apprehension of the work to be done in the microcosm, and the share to be taken in the [Page 88] work of the macrocosm is very advanced. It is apparent, therefore, why it is only at the third initiation that the great Hierophant, the Lord of the World, Himself officiates. It is the first at which He contacts the initiate. Earlier it would not be possible. For the first two initiations the Hierophant is the Christ, the World-Teacher, Adam the Firstborn among many brethren, one of the earliest of our humanity to take initiation. Browning brings out this thought most beautifully in the words found in his poem “Saul”:
A face like my face that receives thee; a Man like to me,
Thou shalt love and be loved by, forever;
A Hand like this hand
Shall throw open the gates of new life to thee!
See the Christ stand!
But when the initiate has made still further progress, and has taken two initiations, a change comes. The Lord of the World, the Ancient of Days, the ineffable Ruler Himself administers the third initiation. Why has this become possible? Because now the fully consecrated physical body can safely bear the vibrations of the two other bodies when they return to its shelter from the Presence of the KING; because now the purified astral and controlled mental can safely stand before that KING. When purified and controlled they stand and for the first time consciously vibrate to the Ray of the Monad, then with prepared bodies can the ability to see and hear on all the planes be granted and achieved, and the faculty of reading and comprehending the records be safely employed, for with fuller knowledge comes added power. The heart is now sufficiently pure and loving, and the intellect sufficiently stable to stand the strain of knowing.
Before the fourth initiation can be taken, the work of [Page 89] training is intensified, and the hastening and accumulation of knowledge has to be unbelievably rapid. The initiate has frequent access to the library of occult books, and after this initiation he can contact not only the Master with Whom he is linked and with Whom he has worked consciously for a long time, but he can contact and assist (in measure) the Chohans, the Bodhisattva, and the Manu.
He has also to grasp the laws of the three lower planes intellectually, and likewise wield them for the aiding of the scheme of evolution. He studies the cosmic plans and has to master the charts; he becomes versed in occult technicalities and develops fourth dimensional vision, if he has not already done so. He learns to direct the activities of the building devas, and at the same time, he works continually at the development of his spiritual nature. He begins rapidly to co-ordinate the Buddhic vehicle, and in its co-ordination he develops the power of synthesis, at first in small measure, and gradually in fuller detail.
By the time the fourth initiation is taken the initiate has mastered perfectly the fifth sub-plane, and is therefore adept,—to use a technical phrase,—on the five lower subplanes of the physical, astral, and mental planes, and is well on the way to master the sixth. His Buddhic vehicle can function on the two lower sub-planes of the Buddhic plane.
The life of the man who takes the fourth initiation, or the Crucifixion, is usually one of great sacrifice and suffering. It is the life of the man who makes the Great Renunciation, and even exoterically it is seen to be strenuous, hard, and painful. He has laid all, even his perfected personality, upon the altar of sacrifice, and stands bereft of all. All is renounced, friends, money, reputation, character, standing in the world, family, and even life itself.
After the fourth initiation not much remains to be done. The domination of the sixth sub-plane goes forward with rapidity, and the matter of the higher sub-planes of the Buddhic is coordinated. The initiate is admitted into closer fellowship in the Lodge, and his contact with the devas is more complete. He is rapidly exhausting the resources of the Hall of Wisdom, and is mastering the most intricate plans and charts. He becomes adept in the significance of color and sound, can wield the law in the three worlds, and can contact his Monad with more freedom than the majority of the human race can contact their Egos. He is in charge, also, of large work, teaching many pupils, aiding in many schemes, and is gathering under him those who are to assist him in future times. This refers only to those who stay to help humanity on this globe; we will deal later with some of the lines of work that stretch before the Adept if He passes away from earth service.
After the fifth initiation the man is perfected as far as this scheme goes, though he may, if he will, take two further initiations.
To achieve the sixth initiation the Adept has to take a very intensive course in planetary occultism. A Master wields the law in the three worlds, whilst a Chohan of the sixth initiation wields the law in the chain on all levels; a Chohan of the seventh initiation wields the law in the solar system.
It will be apparent that, should he search these subjects with application, the student will find much that concerns him personally, even though the ceremony itself may be far ahead. By the study of the process and the purpose he may become aware of the great fundamental fact that the method of initiation is the method of:—
a. Force realization.
b. Force application.
c. Force utilization.
The initiate of every degree, from the humble initiate of the first degree, making for the first time his contact with a certain type of specialized force, up to the emancipated Buddha of the seventh degree, is dealing with energy of some kind or other. The stages of development of the aspirant might be expressed as follows:—
1. He has to become aware, through discrimination, of the energy or force of his own lower self.
2. He has to impose upon that energetic rhythm one that is higher, until that lower rhythm is superseded by the higher, and the old method of expressing energy dies out entirely.
3. He then is permitted, by gradually expanding realizations, to contact and—under guidance—to employ certain forms of group energy, until the time comes when he is in a position scientifically to wield planetary force. The length of time taken over his final stage is entirely dependent upon the progress he makes in the service of his race and in the development of those powers of the soul which are the natural sequence of spiritual unfoldment.”
Frankly speaking, I have not heard such initiation paths within the Anuttarayoga Tantra (Highest Yoga Tantra), regardless of major or minor empowerment. Again, these are also not found in the initiation ritual texts from the lower tantras, such as the Kriya, Carya and Yoga Tantras.
In the minor empowerments, we can only find the Body Blessing, the Speech Blessing and the Mind Blessing. Occasionally, the Torma Blessing and the Vase Consecration are given to the disciples so that they would receive the lineage blessings and to secure their practice in the deity yoga. And in the major empowerments, we can only find the Preparation Ritual for the first day of the initiation and the Actual Ritual for the second day of the initiation, this initiation consists on Four Consecrations: Vase Empowerment, Secret Empowerment, Wisdom Empowerment and the Fourth Empowerment, and should be given at the time of the entry into the mandala of deity, eg. Vajrakilaya, Hayagriva, Guhyasamaja, Cakrasamvara, Hevajra or Kalacakra. I will not elaborate these stages here because I am not qualified to teach Buddhist tantras. None of these texts ever mention of Christ and such planes. So where did he get his initiation ritual texts from? Clearly, all these are his own compositions, and have nothing to do with Buddhist tantras, not even Hindu tantras.
Official email from the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama
An official email from the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama regarding Tulku Buddha Maitreya:
“Dear Ratna Henry Chia,
Thank you for your email. I am to inform you that the person you mentioned in your email as being a tulku has never been endorsed or recognised by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We had received quite a number of letters and emails recently and in the past regarding this.
With best wishes,
Tenzin Wangden Andrugtsang
Now, Wangchuk Palgyi said in his emails that “His Holiness the Dalai Lama has not met Buddha Maitreya nor have any of the other lineage throneholders had the chance to meet him yet.” He added, “The lineage throneholders have not really heard of Buddha Maitryea, there is only Gossip, or accusals from people who are prideful channels for negativity like yourself You have afforded this hard working Tulku no effort to do a real investigation, never mind try and talk to the people who have a strong recognition for him, why don’t you do this -because you are a channel for negativity and hoplessness nothing else!!” If Wangchuk Palgyi’s statements are true, this also means that the newsletter “Chitsonk Melong – The Mirror of Society” is non-existent. If this newsletter does exist and has been circulated in Dharamsala, India and Lhasa, Tibet, why did Wangchuk Palgyi claim that the lineage throneholders have not heard of Tulku Buddha Maitreya? Don’t forget, Lhasa is the capital city of Tibet while the Tibetan government-in-exile is located at Dharamsala. It is not possible for the Tibetan Buddhist leaders do not have the chance to hear his ‘big’ name. Besides, he has offered donation to rebuild and support Tibetan monasteries in Tibet and Tibetan monastic communities in India. Something is very wrong here. Contradiction.
And yet, from the official site of Tulku Buddha Maitreya, it does mention that Ron Spencer did try to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama. And they claimed that the Secretary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama Lobsang Jimpa had written an email, as follows:
“Tulku Karma Phuntsok la, Tashi Delek,
I have received all the email address from Jampa’s hand. Kuyong Tenzin Geshe had some misunderstanding and he apologies for that. What do you feel after H.H. Dalai lama’s audience? Jampa had talk with his H.H. regarding your association and details of you. I believe in it. What is your plan in the future? What is your opinion about the Govt of Tibet? Hope to see you soon.
From The Secretary of H.H. Dalai Lama Lobsang Jimpa.”
And he replied:
“Tashi Delek!!! Lobsang Jimpa La “The Secretary of H.H. Dalai Lama”
I am so very happy to receive your most reverent email. I am coming to Dharamsala. I would like very much to meet you and H.H. the Dalai Lama during that time.
As far as how do I feel after H.H. Dalai Lama’s audience? Do you mean Jampa’s talk with his H.H. regarding my association and details of me, since I was not allowed an audience with H.H. the Dalai Lama as of yet.
I am very pleased Jampa was able to have an audience with H.H. and allow my work to be presented, I felt a very big blessing when this happened as H.H the Dalai Lama has such a great Dharmic Brotherhood from so many past lives that his response to my work was what I expected and the misunderstandings by others I have understood for many years and I also knew that too would come to an end allowing H.H. and I to begin our friendship once again.
Thank you Lobsang Jimpa La for recognizing my Dharma Activities, I am sure we will have many opportunities to work together when H.H. and I begin combining our Dharma Activities and Teaching and help to Awaken Bodhicitta in the nature of all religions and nations.
You asked me What is my opinion about the Govt of Tibet?
I see politics in Government needing a true Virtuous level of understanding that sees the Unawakened Buddha Nature in the Nations that live by the law of hate, and yet can also see the potential awakening Buddha Nature Veiled by this life of the kali Yuga’s destructive forces against Dharma. In past lives the same nation has been more awakened in Buddha Nature and as Tibetan Buddhism is a science of exorcising Demons and Vices that are transformed into Dharma Protectors so to can Tibetan Buddhism reawaken Past Lives to incarnate at this time that are Dharmicly able to Heal the Nations and Governments as the nations people also reawaken the desire to become Monks and Nun’s and restore the Monasteries that insures their future lives to be Governed by Virtuous Governments of Buddha Nature that has the force of Shambhala and the Will of Love. This is how I see Tibetan Government evolving into a democratic Government that Virtuously restores human rights to freedom of religion and free speech. As the past Buddha Nature of China is reawakened also a democratic nation will emerge due to the power of Love governing the Tibetan Government and its nature of Buddha’s Noble Path. Because the Tibetan Government is a Spiritual Agency it is conditioned by Buddha’s Body, Mind and Speech. If there is any Harmful activities that inhibit human rights then the Karmic forces of the three Buddha’s of activity will restore Noble Liberating virtues governing the Nature of Buddha by Dispelling the Delusions and Illusions that only discriminate and unable to discern due to over-discriminating mind, body and speech. It is the incarnations of Tulkus and their ability to unify their different paths into a complementation of relationships that self realize and self actualize the lack of differences and separation. It is this spiritual unification that governs the Karmic activity of the Tibetan Government.
Once the Tulkus of all lineages come together under one Dharma Umbrella then the forces of separation and delusion will be dispelled and the Laws of Shambhala will radiate not only this earth but all creation, Past, Present and Future. My title Buddha Maitreya fits the Teaching and reality of the Science of Invocation and Evocation found in the Gelugpa Lineage of Je Tsong Khapa. Misunderstanding Due to expecting the incarnation of Buddha Maitreya to appear in certain ways or in a certain time simply does not balance out with the Ceremonial Practices established by an incarnation of Buddha Maitreya “Je Tsong Khapa” when he established Monlan Chenpo 21 day ceremony that has been invoked in order to evoke the Shortening of the remaining time of the Kalpa of Gautama Buddha and to hasten the coming of Buddha Maitreya, so I am not early at all.
I am the fulfillment of Gautama Buddha’s prophecy of Maitreya Buddha’s Incarnation that when the Metal Bird Flies and Horses ride on wheels, Tibetans will be scattered around the world like ants and the Buddha Dharma will return to the land of the Red Man “America”.

I plan to help in everyway possible as a Healer and Teacher in the restoration of Tibetan Buddhism. I will focus on alleviating the practical cause of stress and worry. Hygiene, food, medicine, water, proper living spaces and Libraries, Prayer halls for study and Puja.
By first restoring these practical needs, the natural Dharmic activities will flourish and many Monks and Nuns will establish the highest level of education and meditation skills necessary to establish the higher Universities of Geshe Studies.
Also I intend to help all Tulkus of all lineages so they can restore the telepathic Transmission of the Lineage and Root Guru. This will restore the great Lineage tree of Vajradhara that is the root Guru of all Buddha Nature.
I have rebuilt the Great Dema Monastery, soon to open in 6 months for all Lineages.
By helping Rinpoches in their Monastic Study and 3 year Retreats I hope to establish every Rinpoche in their Monastic Study and accomplish the degree of Geshe so they can best Teach and work with their Monasteries Abbots and Geshes and raise the standard of each Monastery for Planetary Healing.
I will begin writing books on Shambhala and the Universal teaching found in all religions, so my focus will not be souly about Tibetan Buddhism, I will Teach about the universal sacred Nature of Buddha Nature and how all religions are based on the awakening of Buddha Nature and not so much Buddhism as a religion but as a nature.
I will also teach about sacred geomancy and unifying architecture of all religions based on the same universal laws of awakening inner light of Buddha Nature in every atom.
I will teach about the 7 Rays and Solar Philosophy as the Sacred Stupa and the Great Pyramid is based on and how the Constitution of man is based on the 7 rays and the 7 chakras. This teaching focuses on harmlessness.
I have been a healer since a very young boy, and teaching about Buddha Nature since I was 9 years old. So I am wondering if Ron Spencer has removed it after he received some complains from those who have actually written their enquiries to the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We never know.
When I posted a reply to Tulku Buddha Maitreya on alt.religion.buddhism.tibetan, on the issue of gurus, I have quoted the official email from the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He replied:

There are ancient Cantonese (Chinese) sayings – ‘dead chicken kicking the cover of a rice cooker’ and ‘grabbing sands from the ground when I fell down’ – which are referring to cover up ones mistakes or errors and saving ones pride (or face? hahaha. This is the Chinese term for that.) by using ‘skilful’ methods. This Tulku Buddha Maitreya indeed behaved like these ancient sayings.

A former truck driver who now runs a “cult” in California has proclaimed himself “Buddha Maitreya” and announced on radio that he and the Dalai Lama of Tibet are working together.
Ronald Lloyd Spencer, known to his followers as “Buddha Maitreya,” says that he and the Dalai Lama will soon be “sitting on throne seats next to each other.” Spencer runs “therapy and retreat centers” in Mt. Shasta, California and Omaha, Nebraska.
He made these and other bizarre claims on his radio shows, which are broadcast in the Bay area of San Francisco on 1450 KFST FM, KNRY 1240 AM in Santa Cruz and in Omaha on KKAR Talk. Past programs are archived at his website “buddhamaitreya.org.”
However, it seems that Mr. Spencer is a liar.
A former secretary who served His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is now at Stanford University said the would-be Buddha’s claims are “totally untrue and baseless.” Secretary Tenzin Geyche Tehton added that what Spencer says concerning the Dalai Lama is “totally nonsense” and simply “rubbish.”
But visit the self-proclaimed Buddha’s “Tibetan Project” page and you may see him being crowned and read grandiose claims about his abilities and authority.
It seems Mr. Spencer collects donations for “lifesaving assistance,” which may explain how he managed to arrange various photo ops to show supporters and to post at his website.
However, according to those who know “His Holiness Buddha Maitreya” as just Ron, his sordid past includes theft, sexual abuse, fraud and “brainwashing.” One of his victims referred to him as little more than a “con man.”
Spencer may say that donations “help in the restoration of [Tibetan] monasteries,” but you won’t find a detailed and independently audited financial statement on his website, to demonstrate dollar-for-dollar how the money is spent.
One former Spencer confidant observed, “I pity the poor monasteries that cannot possibly have the slightest hint about how he is using them.”
Spencer also sells an array of pricey metaphysical contraptions and amulets, some supposedly designed for “etheric healing.” He claims, “all profit from sales is donated to Tibetan monastery renovations and sponsorship of exiled Tibetans.”
Ron Spencer staffs his “Soul Therapy and Shambhala Retreat Centers,” largely with Americans he calls “monks.” These devotees manufacture the contraptions he hawks, but often receive little more than room and board.
Of course the “monks” do benefit from the spiritual teachings of their “Buddha”, an eclectic mix of “New Age” beliefs that includes everything from the “Archangel Michael” to the “Lost Continent of Atlantis.” Spencer even promotes theories about UFOs.
However, these are certainly not doctrines His Holiness the Dalai Lama would recognize.
Moreover, though Spencer’s monks may be celibate their “Buddha” is not. He has been divorced, remarried and has children. And this “Buddha Maitreya” also has a history of recreational drug use and is a hemp enthusiast.
Well, it’s a free country and as they say, “Whatever floats your boat.” But it seems Spencer’s sailing shouldn’t be subsidized by trading on the respected name of the Dalai Lama of Tibet.”

Ron Spencer has now brought new meaning to that classic rock song “California Dreaming.”
The Mt. Shasta guru reportedly has a penchant for pot smoking. Was this dream was discerned through a cloud of Cannabis smoke?
Officials associated with the Dalai Lama deny any recognition whatsoever has been given to Spencer by His Holiness and describe his claims as “nonsense.”
Spencer has also said that he and the Dalai Lama will occupy “throne seats next to each other.”
It may be time for the self-proclaimed “Buddha” to find a new “throne,” but not one anywhere near the Dalai Lama’s spiritual seat.
Perhaps Ron Spencer should set his sights on finding a seat in a restroom. He seems full of something, but it doesn’t appear to be “holiness.””
