I can not believe these rumor's of Ron Spencer!
Amazing, I have met him probably a dozen times over
20 years or more. I know his family. He has never
Been a truck driver, but his Late Father a Native American was.
He according to both his brother and sister and mother was recognized as Buddha Maitereya Incarnation and Tibetans sent by the Panchen Lama came to there home asking to take him to Tibet. His parents were very confused by this and denied. He choose to wait until he was 30 and than approach them and according to what I heard that is what he did.
He was drafted at 19 during Vietnam war and choose to enlIst in the navy as a conscientous objector and served 4 years. He than attended several colleges for 6 years and opened a vegetarian restaurant in imperial beach ca Sunshine Cafe along with helping homeless with clothes and food for 3 years.
He traveled to Oregon in 1979 and opened a healing center as a homeopath and herbalist. He studied both during his college years.
In 1989 he went to England to find the benjamin creme claimed Maitreya who never appeared. He than went to Nepal and was again recognized as Buddha Maitreya and began enthronements from 1998 to 2005.

Where the lies come from I do not know but this is no Truck Driver fake

He is the most honest and kindest man I have ever met.

found this online same guy mentioned

In Omaha we have this cute little cult - the leader is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, the Buddha Maitreya (only 2,400 years early!), and a bunch of other crap I don't believe. I like his original form - Ronald Lloyd Spencer, former truck driver, drug addict, and general purpose dipshit.

This group, The Church of Shambhala, pushes a frothy mix of new age philosophy and they have a habit of keeping genuine Buddhist monks in forced labor situations. I got to know Rick a bit a few years ago when I rescued a young monk out of the place with the help of a few Omaha police officers. The poor fellow had four wisdom teeth out and when he got back to the 'production center' they put him right back to production - working on epoxy without a respirator. I held the young man at an undisclosed location, hired him an immigration attorney, and the poor cultists just couldn't understand why I wouldn't do Great Leader's bidding and return the 'sinner' to them.

Rick's material is ... good. But I'd do more research on cult activity to sharpen this up before you really start spreading it. You do need to spread it, if this group is genuinely heretical in the eyes of the church, but be certain before you open fire in a broader fashion.

Ouch people, let it be! I know you feel a sense of responsibility to warn others of things that you view or have experienced as negative. But we are not victims, we make choices. If we choose to follow a phony guru, than that is our choice. 2 people can stand at a bridge over looking the most spectactular waterfall and each one can have a totally differant view, opinion, perspective etc. Its up to us what we choose to see and feel about anything. So stop warning others, let them have their own experience. One mans saint is another mans sinner! And you can ask anyone that has used the tools, without ever being told about the man and its a very similiar story of healing and peacefullness that they recieve. And I personally have and will pay much much more for daily peace and love and grace in my life. I was never able to obtain it in this way without the tools, but thats not to say its not possible.

What nonsense!

Real Buddhism is cast in a bad light when this man incorporates it into his ridiculous cult.

The appearance of Maitreya won't be for at least 5,000 years after Shakyamuni Buddha. It hasn't even been 3,000 years yet.

Wake up, people! Ron is a phony, and he is emptying your wallets. Not to mention the spiritual harm that he is doing.
